Getupdated launches Circuit Interactive AB as independent brand for its web consultancy

Getupdated's Stockholm-based consulting offering will increase its marked visibility by adopting the new independent brand Circuit Interactive. The organization remains a wholly owned subsidiary of the Getupdated Group in order for Getupdated to continue to exploit the synergies between web consulting and internet marketing. It employs 30 consultants specialized in internet solutions such as websites, intranet solutions and portals, on-line communities and social media. "Getupdated has a very broad range of services and this change will allow the consulting organization to market its excellent portfolio of business oriented online solutions in its own right", comments Paul Yates, CEO of Getupdated.

As of today, Circuit Interactive AB is the new brand of Getupdated's web, intranet and community consulting services. The name is pending registration at the Swedish Companies Registration Office (Bolagsverket).

Circuit Interactive is a leading innovator in the market for web, intranet and community solutions. It has had notable success building state-of-the art online solutions for clients such as Tasteline, Visit Sweden, PRO and Volvo Trucks.

"We believe an innovative consulting business such as ours has a great market potential, but it has been hard to market its excellent capabilities under the same brand as the rest of the group. Thus the decision to give it an independent platform in order to build its own reputation and growth," says Oscar Werner.

The consulting organization that's now becoming Circuit Interactive has won numerous awards for its cilents, most recently when Tasteline won the InternetWorld magazine award for best food-and-drink web. After structural measures taken in 2008 and early 2009, it is profitable on an EBITA-level. However, detailed figures for the subsidiary are not disclosed.
